Hunters Hill is a leafy sandstone peninsula stretching from Pittwater Road to Onions Point, at the confluence of the Lane Cove and Parramatta Rivers, located approximately 7 kilometres from the CBD of Sydney. Hunters Hill is both the smallest local government area in Metropolitan Sydney, as well as one of the oldest European-settled areas on the north side of the harbour. Hunters Hill is recognised as Australia's oldest garden suburb.
